3 Day Refresh: Post Baby Refreshing

As a new mom, it’s hard to make sure you are eating well all the time, sometimes you just have to grab whatever you can find…and sometimes that was a handful of chocolate pretzel balls!
I had been slipping into some not-so-great eating habits, so my team and I decided it was time for us to do a quick reboot!
In 3 days I lost 3.8 pounds, and feel freakin amazing!!!

There was no starving going on, and I got to eat real food and chew 😂 PLUS I was still able to keep up with Caleb’s hungry demands, lol 👶🏻 (I did adapt the 3 days somewhat since I am still exclusively breastfeeding)

The 3 days are never easy, I have shared on my Facebook Page how every time I do this it teaches me something new about myself, and this time it taught me just how much I turn to food to satisfy every emotion…

Bored? Let’s eat!
Tired? Let’s eat chocolate.
Successfully got the tiny human down for a nap? Let’s celebrate with snacks.
Frustrated? Let’s calm ourselves with some sugary stuffs.

When I start feeling bloated and sluggish, and can easily eat an entire slab of chocolate at night, I know it is time to intervene and give my body a break from all the junk!

3 days to better sleep, less bloat, and feeling amazing is worth giving up my coffee for…but just for 3 days! ☕️ Oh, and dropping a few pounds is always a nice “side-effect” of treating your body well.
