Have you ever read the ingredients on a packet of Shakeology?
On Sunday I posted a picture of my pregnant belly at 28 weeks, I also happened to be holding my Shakeology shaker cup because I was headed to the airport, coming home from a health and fitness convention in Nashville.
A few minutes later I had someone message me to tell me that Shakeology (which I have been drinking for 2 years every single day, AND has gotten me the healthiest I have ever been) is full of toxins and terrible ingredients and I should not be drinking that, especially not while pregnant.
Funnily enough, if I had been holding a Big Mac, nobody would’ve blinked twice and chalked it up to pregnancy cravings..
But let’s do a quick comparison:
- Total Fat: Shakeology 2g – Big Mac 33g
- Cholesterol: Shakeology 0mg – Big Mac 79mg
- Sodium: Shakeology 150mg – Big Mac 1,007mg
- Calories: Shakeology 160 – Big Mac 563
Ignorance breeds ignorance. There is no way to fight ignorance either, other than to encourage people to educate themselves before they speak.
Have you ever read the ingredients on a packet of Shakeology? Have you ever researched how these shakes came about and what they can do for your body?
If you haven’t, I encourage you to do that, before you try and convince others that you have done due diligence and know what you are talking about.
I have done my research, and that is why both Rob and I have chosen to drink these shakes every single day for the last two years. ESPECIALLY while I am pregnant!
I would be happy to talk to anyone who wants to know more or who has questions. Feel free to send me a message, I am always happy to help people feel their best and become the healthiest version of themselves!
