The Real Battle

Can I do it?
Do I have what it takes?
But I’ve never been successful before…
She is prettier/taller/skinnier/smarter/stronger than me
She has the support of her family
It’s just easier for her
Others just don’t understand my situation
I don’t have any time
I don’t have the money

Most of the time, the biggest battle we will ever have to fight is the one that is taking place in our minds!

When I hear the hundreds of excuses I get given about why people feel they “can’t” invest in themselves, I often want to take them and hug them and remind them that THEY ARE WORTH IT! Because when we allow our excuses to win, we are choosing to believe that we are not capable or worthy of investing in ourselves, chasing down our dreams, and achieving the goals we so badly want to achieve.

A huge mistake we make is comparing our Chapter 1 with someone else’s Chapter 20. Everyone has to start somewhere and everyone has different goals.
Everyone is busy (with different things), everyone is tired (for different reasons), everyone has doubts and fears (because none of us want to fail…yet again), but if you can win the battle that is raging in your mind, if you can overcome your doubts and start believing that you are both worthy and capable, you will be amazed by what you can actually achieve!

I have a challenge for you. Put aside your excuses, put aside your fear and self-doubt. Believe that your health and wellness is worth the investment (and the time, and the effort, and the sweat and the stiffness), and DECIDE to make a change. COMMIT to giving it your all, even when that initial determination has worn off, and I promise you I will be there every step of the way to help you SUCCEED!
