I recently saw an ad running on Facebook for 4 items – a hamburger, fries, chicken nuggets, and a soda – for only $4, about the same price as a serving of Shakeology, and it got me thinking. As someone who drinks Shakeology every single day I often have people ask how Rob and I can afford 2 (TWO!) bags of these shakes a month. The short answer is because we see the value in investing in our health and the difference these daily shakes have made for us, so therefore we have chosen to invest our money in them.
The long answer is here.
When Darin Olien and Isabelle Daikeler created Shakeology there were not looking for a few great ingredients and a whole bunch of cheap filler. They were intent on creating a shake that no other shake could compare to. No corners were cut.
Another thing that amazes me is how many people ask if Shakeology is “safe.” I am not always sure what is meant by “safe,” especially when you see things like this being sold as food (and people flocking to try it out, just to see their poop turn green!)
Here is a little research that was done about the amazing Black Halloween Whopper:
The scary, toxic problem with Burger King’s black Whopper turning your poop green
I absolutely know and understand that different things work for different people. Not everyone needs to do things the same way. But I think we can all agree that there are certain things that definitely do not help us in our pursuit of health and happiness.
