Fear has two meanings

It’s not about being skinny, it’s about regaining your confidence and feeling good inside your own skin. That’s not the same size for everyone, but good health is possible for all!

PiYo and Shakeology were the start of it all for me. After years of being uncomfortable in my own skin, yo-yoing in my diet and weight, wondering what students, parents, colleagues, and even strangers were thinking of me and how I looked (negative self-talk was a big issue for me…and something I have to still work on constantly), I decided to take the plunge and dive in.

It felt too expensive, it felt too exposing, it felt too difficult. It was scary, but FEAR has two meanings:
1. Forget Everything And Run
2. Face Everything And Rise

I had been doing #1 for long enough, so I decided it was time to try #2, after all, “If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.”

Now I want to pay it forward and help others who find themselves struggling with self-doubt and negative self-talk. Those who feel frustrated because they have tried everything, but nothing seems to change. Those who feel they can’t lose the weight, they can’t get healthy, they can’t love being in their own skin, and maybe it all just feels impossible.

Well, let me tell you, it IS possible, and you CAN do it!

Working out and fueling my body correctly has definitely helped me tone up and learn how to treat my body properly. However, the benefits of getting up and getting moving have been far greater than just allowing me to build muscle, it has given me self-confidence, and transformed me from the inside out.

For just over a year I have been focusing on clean and simple nutrition, getting my 30-minute workouts done each day, and reading books that have helped me work towards becoming the best version of myself.
