I am running a free 5 Day Clean Eating Challenge on Facebook at the moment, just for those who want a healthy, clean eating plan to follow for 5 days to get back on track with nutrition or just get some new ideas for healthy options. Well, the menu gives the option for hard boiled eggs to be added as sides for some meals (For example: Berry & Nut Butter Oatmeal with a hard boiled egg on the side), and while I was looking for the perfect way to hard boil an egg I came across someone who had posted about cooking the eggs in the oven. So, of course I had to give it a try!
I placed a few eggs in a muffin tin, preheated my oven to 325°F, placed them in the oven, set the timer for 28 minutes, and waited…
When I took them out I placed them in cold water to cool them off and stop them from cooking further, and when I peeled the first one it was perfect! So, here’s a super easy and hassle-free way of “hard boiling” your eggs.
Keep them in their shell and you can store them in the fridge for up to a week. They are also quick and easy snacks to grab when you are on the go!
