I am always looking for healthy snack options that fuel my body properly, so these are just perfect! If you wanted to, you could add a scoop or two of protein powder or Shakeology, but that is not necessary, they are super tasty just like this!
Serving size: 2 bite-sized balls
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes (includes rolling all the balls)
- 2.5 cups extra thick rolled oats
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 2/3 cup slivered almonds
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed (optional)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut milk (any milk)
- 2/3 cup all natural almond butter or peanut butter
Mix everything together and squish into bite size balls.
Makes approximately 35 balls.
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
